5/7 April-like weather

It's been rainy and cool, but great weather for hardening and planting little plants.
I dragged the hay off some of the beds, adding sheep poop, getting them ready to plant. Peppers, eggplants beds are ready to go. Tomato bed soon. There are plants everywhere. And the only pots left downstairs are unsprouted seeds. They will come up as soon as the cold nights quit.
New tulips sprouted- small striped dark pink on white- a lovely thin trumpet shape. And something white with a yellow centre and no leaves in the Norway bed. It had been dug up and I replanted it. I am hoping for an ID soon. Pictures in the 2019 May section of the website.
Lots of new bees in the crabapple mostly- a smaller bumble type, a smaller honeybee type.
The currants and gooseberries are setting fruit.
Opened the farmgate with 9 of the Pagoda Dogwoods I dug up. Likely have 20 more!
