5/1 May Day

Went on a buying trip to Northland Nursery yesterday with Anne. Go to May 2021 to see the good stuff I bought. Cut the trip short because it was cold and very windy.

Transplanting eggplants and the rest of the tomatoes. Moving them into the greenhouse and also the porch to start the hardening off.

Planted the Scarlet Runner Beans in the small Hugel. Potatoes are going into containers this year.

Beautiful today but really windy.

Heather and Matt came to pick up the plants I bought for her at Northland.

I am covering more periwinkle with cardboard, newspaper and hay. Still lots to do though.

I have to start digging the new beds soon.
