4/27 I am Queenless

I knew last inspection, and have spent the last week trying to find a new queen.

Peas have sprouted in the Driveway bed.

Scat patrol reveals the presence of skunks! Yay. Yep- love the skunks and they will eat a lot of bugs I don't love.

Old pear tree blooming. New one starting to leaf out. Poor thing lost all its lateral branches to the bunnies over winter. And I think the Apricot didn't make it.

First ladybug spotted. Pun intended.

Rust on one of the currant bushes.
