4/19 Spring is a happy time!

Cheerful flowers everywhere, bees waking up and flying around, as are bumblebees, wasps and I think I saw a Yellow Jacket.

Lady Bumble bee has enlarged her nest. Fun fact: Common Eastern Bumblebee can borrow 8' down to build a nest that can hold up to 350 bees. I watched her enter her nest.

It's a bit cool today 14C but overcast, so Bee hive inspection put over to Friday.

Planted thyme, onion, garlic in Bean Hugel and bottom of rock garden.
